Hormones and Hair Loss - 3 Easy Tips to Control Hair Loss

A lot of different things can cause hair loss. For some people it's a matter of pure genetics, for others it can be poor health of the hair and scalp. Some people however, have a very strong connection with hormones and hair loss.

What exactly are hormones?

Hormones are like little messengers that travel through your blood stream. They have very specific messages for the cells that make up your body.

The messages tell the cells in your body to do certain things. These messages help keep your body in balance and keep you healthy. It is easy to see why a problem with hormones can lead to many different kinds of problems including hair loss.

How do hormones get out of balance?

Our diets are the number one reason why our hormones get out of balance. We live in such a diet driven society that has turned fatty foods into nutrition super villains.

Fatty foods are extremely important for our diet. They do so many important things to our body, and they play a huge role in our hormones.

Hormones can't function properly without fatty foods in our diets. Hormones are made out of cholesterol which cannot be properly produced without some sort of fats in our food. This leads to our first point.

1. Eat fatty foods, but only natural ones!

While dieting fanatics are right about avoiding fast food and other foods stuffed with crazy amounts of sugar, there are many types of foods high in fat that are great for you.

Some simple foods that you would normally use are olive oil, egg yolks, and raw milk. These foods are in many recipes and are actually good for you. They can really help balance your hormones and promote more hair growth!

2. Start taking a multi-vitamin!

You need vitamins; there is no way around it. Almost everybody suffers from some sort of vitamin deficiency.

Vitamins such as A, B, C, E, and Zinc are especially important for hair growth. These vitamins can be absorbed through a healthy and balanced diet, but a multi-vitamin will ensure that you are getting your full supply.

Besides hair growth, you should also see other good effects from this!

3. Do some mild exercising!

Exercising is an amazing way to keep your hormones in balance. Your body's natural reactions to exercise will promote proper hormone use and make you all around healthier.

I'm not say you have to run a marathon every week. Just get up every now and then and go for a jog or walk.
